This class can dump a MySQL or PostgreSQL database to an archive.

It can connect to a given MySQL or PostgreSQL database to check if the database access is correct.

Then it can dump the records of the database to a file using the mysqldump or pg_dump utility programs.

The class can compress the output using the gzip algorithm and store it in a file or serve it for download.
