Is there any example code, how to generate ical files?

I'm sorry, I haven't provided a concrete iCal example because I have never encountered a need to create one (I've been a vCard man myself). Given sample data from which an iCal file could be created, I would be happy to provide sample code.

The general principles, though, can be seen from the vCard examples.
